PVC Pipe Machine PVC pipe (PVC-U pipe) is a kind of hard PVC pipe, which is extruded by hot pressing method after the cooperation of PVC resin and stabilizer, lubricant, etc. It is the first plastic pipe to be developed and applied. PVC-U pipes have the advantages of strong corrosion resistance, easy adhesion, low price and hard texture. But due to the seepage of PVC-U monomer and additives, it is only suitable for water supply systems with conveying temperature less than 45 ℃. Plastic pipes are used for drainage, wastewater, chemicals, heating and cooling fluids, food, ultra-pure liquids, mud, gases, compressed air and vacuum systems.
I. Introduction of PVC Pipes PVC is the abbreviation of Polyvinylchlorid, whose main ingredient is polyvinyl chloride added with other ingredients to enhance its heat resistance, toughness, ductility of a material. The top layer of this surface film is lacquer, the main component in the middle is polyvinyl chloride, and the bottom layer is back adhesive. It is a popular and widely used synthetic material in the world today. Its global usage nowadays is the second highest among all kinds of synthetic materials. PVC can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. Soft PVC is generally used in floors, ceilings and leather surfaces. Because soft PVC contains plasticizers, which is the difference between soft PVC and hard PVC, it has poor physical properties. For example, plumbing needs certain water pressure so soft PVC is not suitable. Thus, its scope of use is limited. II. Market Outlook The production capacity of plastic pipes in China reaches 3 million tons. There are three main categories of PVC, PE and PP-R pipes. PVC pipe production lines are more than 1600. Annual production capacity is more than 2.5 million tons, 2013 PVC pipeline (pipe fittings) annual output reaches more than 1.2 million tons. From here we can see that the market for PVC tube demand is great. III. Advantages of PVC Tube As an important building component in the market, PVC pipe mainly has the following advantages: (1) Good tensile and compressive strength; but its flexibility is not as good as other plastic pipes (2) Small fluid resistance: PVC-U pipe wall is very smooth and the resistance to the fluid is very small. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009. (3) Good resistance to corrosion: PVC-U pipes have the advantages of excellent acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and are free from moisture and soil pH value. Thus no antiseptic treatment is required for pipeline laying. IV.
