As we all know, there are no days off for those who are involved in the industry of plastic product manufacturing. They must be ready to go back to the factory to deal with problems at any time. This year's format is not very good. One of my old friends insisted on investing in a new project. He said that his partner had market, so he could sell it casually. I tried every effort to persuade him that there is no need to rush to buy injection molding machines for production. After all, how reliable can the partner be that he knew on the Internet? However, he’s determined to do the project.
He called me a few days ago and told me that he encountered a technical problem and his products were complained by the foreign customer. He asked me whether I could go to his plant to deal with the problem. The problem of his product is as shown in the figure below. In fact, as soon as I saw the picture, I found where the cause lied. The surface accuracy of the product was not high, and some part had shrunk. This kind of problem is actually very easy to solve. I don't know why the technician can't solve such a simple problem.

The main solution for the reinforcement goes as follows:
1. Check the flow length ratio
If the flow length ratio of the product is extremely long, the feeding of this product then requires high on the injection molding machine. In the process of feeding, the hot material has solidified during molding because the flow length ratio is too long. In the process of maintaining pressure and shrinking, it is difficult for new hot material to enter. But for his product which is obviously not a difficult product, the flow length ratio is not long.
2. Check the plasticization of the material
Check the weight of the product and the ratio of the material to the barrel. If the plasticization performance of the material is not good, it is easy to cause feeding failure, which leads to surface accuracy errors. In addition, it is necessary to check whether too much recycled materials, colorants, lubricants, etc. are added to the materials at the same time, which will affect the surface accuracy of the product.
3. Check the mold and debugging process
Check the exhaust and pouring system of the mold to see if you can further increase the exhaust of the product and increase the thickness of the feed nozzle to increase the surface accuracy of the product. In the debugging process, you should increase part of the back pressure, reduce the injection time, increase the pressure holding time and cooling time.
After slightly adjusting, the shrinkage was reduced in a wide range. If it is to be completely debugged, he should ask the mold factory to further compensate the mold slightly.
