Record 54: How to Deal with the Marks On the PC Mask of the Plastic Helmet?

As shown in the figure above, it is the air mark of PC Helmet Mask in general Mr. Shen's factory. The problem of air marks is relatively easy to solve. Generally, it can be checked according to the following ideas:
1. Check the location of the air mark
When this kind of gas mark appears, the first thing to check is the position where the gas mark appears. If it appears near the nozzle, the general reason can be attributed that the water inlet is designed to be too small, resulting in the jet to produce air marks.
If it appears at the end of the product, or edge turning point, the general cause is gas trapping. Generally, you can ask the mold manufacturer to repair it.
2. Check the runner and the three small pieces of and screw
If the runner is blocked or the three small pieces of screw are damaged, this problem is also easy to occur. Therefore, it is possible to check whether there is blockage of the runner or damage of the three small parts of screw. Since Mr. Shen's injection molding machines and molds were newly purchased, no obvious problems concerning were found after inspection.
3. Check production process
For this kind of air mark which is not particularly obvious, it may also be caused by improper process setting during injection. For transparent PC products, the injection process must follow the idea of slow-fast-slow, that is, slow at the nozzle, fast during filling and slow during filling, and set appropriate parameters at the fast slow conversion place to discharge the trapped gas.
