After three days’ check and debugging, there was still one cavity that couldn’t work normally. The machine technician said that the mold was too bad and couldn’t make it better.
At this time, my friend got distressed. He didn't know much about molds, injection molding machines and debugging techniques. When he purchased, all the manufacturers promised that the production line could get to work immediately and he could make money immediately. When problems occurred, all of them shirking responsibility to each other. What should he do? Another three or four months passed but the production line hasn’t work smoothly. There are either problems here or there. Finally, he had to return the ordered injection molding machine that hasn’t arrived, and sold those already in production at a low price as second-hand machine. The he quit the industry.
In fact, for this kind of 1-out-of-8 mold, the technical threshold is very high. There exist many problems. How much the whole mold plane will expand under the high temperature of 315 degrees? Whether there is enough expansion space and margin to ensure that the product does not lack of material and flash? Whether the 17 hot runner ports have measured? Whether the flow is uniform? Whether the material ports will be blocked?
