1. Common thin-wall injection molding products
The most common thin-wall injection molding products in life must be plastic fast food boxes, plastic knives, forks and spoons. The wall thickness of these products is generally about 0.35mm. However, with the more and more widely application of thin-wall injection technology, the products with wall thickness less than 1mm-1.5mm now can be considered as thin-wall injection products. In addition, there is another kind of products, whose flow length is longer than others, such as trash cans, paint cans, etc. Generally, the high-speed injection molding technology is also applied to the production of this kind of products to meet the requirements of product fullness and surface accuracy.
2. How to deal with the un-fullness of thin wall products
Those who are engaged in thin-wall product production or experienced in thin-wall production all know that the biggest problem in this industry is product un-fullness. A lot of adjusting technicians think that if the product is not full, just increase the injection speed directly. But in fact, this idea is wrong.
Actually, the first factor determining whether the product can be filled is the injection pressure, and then goes the injection speed. If the injection pressure can't reach the lowest filling pressure of the mold cavity, the flash will appear on the product simply by increasing the shooting speed. If the injection pressure is reduced a little, the material shortage will appear, and the balance point of the product can't be reached all the time: when the product is full, there will be no flash.
3. I use a high precision injection molding machine from Germany / Japan. Why can't I make it?
Whether the product can be produced normally has no direct relationship with the brand of injection molding machine. For the production of thin-walled products, especially for some special products, you must use the customized injection molding machine, such as our "TLE series" fast machine. If injection molding machine is not customized according to the product, tit will be hard to meet the accuracy requirements of the normal production.
