Mr. Wang of Jiangsu came to our factory with a newly-developed mold which is specialized for plastic tissue box. The market has been boosted due to the epidemic. Therefore, he urgently needs a way to maximize the output of his products and increase the profit margin of the products.
Mr. Wang's product is the plastic tissue box as shown in the figure below, with a total weight of about 150g, made of ordinary PP (polypropylene). At present, the cycle time of his machine is about 26S, and the yield is low. I immediately contacted the engineer in his factory for about the production cycle, temperature, injection time, mold locking pressure and other parameters in his factory at present. After some calculation, I told Mr. Wang that I was sure to be able to shorten his cycle time to 50% of the original, and greatly increase the yield of his products.
Then I arranged for the engineer to deal with Mr. Wang's mold. After simple process debugging, the cycle time of the product display was reduced to about 16s. Moreover, due to the adjustment of the injection process of the machine, the defect rate of the product was greatly reduced, and the surface trace almost disappeared. Mr. Wang greatly appreciated the result of our adjustment and place an order of the injection molding machine immediately.
