Hello everyone! I am an engineer of Taili Plastic Machinery. I have been engaged in injection molding industry for more than ten years, and spent ten years working with Taili Plastic Machinery. As a veteran of the injection molding industry, although I am not well-known in this industry, I still have a little reputation in my own circle, especially in helping the manufacturers of the plastic product to improve the profits and reduce the defect rate. 1. Reduce Cost
What I'm talking about here is not cutting corners on products and replacing them with inferior ones. To reduce the cost of plastic products, we should consider the following aspects: reducing the defective rate of products, the disposal method of waste plastics, the power consumption for per unit product, and the depreciation of machines. We can notice that cost reduction does not include reducing the purchase cost of the machine, which is also a misunderstanding of many people. What can really improve the profit margin is not the first purchase cost of the machine, but the depreciation cost of the machine, that is, its durability and maintenance cost.
I highly recommend that you can discuss the quality control with your own injection molding machine suppliers. After all, they are manufacturing machines, and no one knows their machines better than they do. The adjustment of some parameters of the machines directly affects the product yield. You can also let your own technician communicate more with the factory staff to improve the professional quality.
2. Develop Star Product and Competitive Product
During my career, I’ve talked with many different injection molding products manufacturers. These manufacturers are really admirable and they know how to make a living in the difficult situation. However, what I want to say is that plastic products must have star product and competitive product. After all, with so many peers, the popularized products do not necessarily make money, but the products that make money must be unique.
