1. Mold Testing
For the selection of thin-wall high-speed injection molding machine, attention must be paid to the injection molding process. The mold testing I talked about is not the test without mold travel. I recommend that you require the manufacturer to make the machine work with the real mold continuously for more than 72 hours, which then can be called a complete mold testing process. If the mold is newly developed, you can require the manufacturer to test with the new mold. The mold test of the new mold must be divided into two steps. The first step is to test the new mold for about 12 hours to make sure the machine can work normally with the mold. The second step is to remove the mold and place it on the ground for about 12 hours; after the mold is fully cooled, assemble the mold and continue the test. According to this method, the running in period of the machine and the mold can be guaranteed to have passed, so the service life of the machine and the service life of the mold will be greatly improved.
2. Low Injection Pressure and Low Mold Locking Pressure
For high-speed injection molding machine for thin-wall product, some may be misled by its name and believe the high-speed machine only needs the high injection rate. In fact, this is totally wrong. The real thin-wall high-speed injection molding machine must be guaranteed with low injection pressure and low mold locking pressure on the premise of high injection rate, which can explain the stability and durability of the machine. Good high-speed injection molding machine must acquire the features of high speed and low pressure.
