All the production equipment, including injection molding machines, molds, auxiliary machines, etc. finally arrive at Mr. ShenĄ¯s Plant since the beginning of April of this year. His anxiety finally comes to an end. However, he finds that there are always many spots appearing on the helmet he produces.
Mr. Shen came to Taili Plastic Machinery for help, telling us that his adjusting master and mold factory master had been adjusting from yesterday afternoon to this morning, but they still failed to solve the problem. Thus Mr. Shen wanted us to go to his factory to have a close look.
In the picture, it is obvious that there are many spots caused by uneven color mixing. In fact, itĄ¯s easy to solve the problem. There are several key points to check as follows.
1. Check raw materials
The main body of helmet is generally made of PP (polypropylene), but ABS is used in Mr. ShenĄ¯s factory for the convenience of later coating. Generally speaking, the mixing ability of ABS raw materials is not as good as that of PP, thus PP is more recommended for production if there is no special commands. However, Mr. Shen actually has the special commands. Thus, Taili Plastic Machinery recommended several color powder factories to Mr. Shen, because the uneven mixing of color powder and poor quality will also lead to this problem.
2. Adjust technology
For the problem of uneven color mixing, the idea of adjusting technology is generally based on the following principles: increase the back pressure as much as possible, and increase the storage time. After the corresponding adjustment on the injection molding machine, the color mixing problem will be alleviated, but in the normal production process, there will still be few spots.
3. Check screw
The final point is to check the screw. Check whether the three parts of the screw have material left, and whether they are caused by the previous material storage or wear. In the case of eliminating this problem, the mixer head can be increased to help the mixing color to be even.
After three steps, Mr. Shen's helmet is finally produced normally.
